Kaia is committed to offering quality training and mentorship to students and trainees. In our lab, we believe that everyone can learn how to be a scientist, regardless of their background, and encourage curiosity, agency, and growth. Previous trainees of Kaia’s have gone on to succeed in PhD and MD programs as hybrid experimental-computational biologists.

Undergraduate researchers
We welcome curious undergraduates looking for hands-on experience in genomics and molecular biology. Positions are available for course credit, work-study, or summer research. Email Kaia a short note about your interests and availability.
Graduate students
PhD & rotation students
We are recruiting both wet-lab and dry-lab graduate students at the Masters and PhD levels. Email Kaia to discuss fit, current projects, and how to apply.
